An abstract artwork featuring blue watercolor rectangles and squares with black ink line drawings and circular stamps with text, on white textured paper with deckle edges,

Painted on thick deckle-edged paper

This painting has a calm, reflective feel — a grid of soft blue rectangles and squares layered over textured white paper. The blues shift from pale sky to deep ink, kind of like breathing or waves rolling in and out. Cutting through all that structure is one looping black line, just wandering through like a thought that won’t quite sit still. And if you look closely, there are three little circular stamps with writing around the edges — together they say, ‘What screws us up most in life is the picture in our head of how it’s supposed to be.’The result is a balanced conversation between control and flow, certainty and change — a minimalist abstraction that gently invites reflection.
