DETAILS SHOWING QUOTE

This striking vertical artwork brings together four distinct yet interconnected abstract compositions — each painted on canvas board and mounted in a deep white wood frame like a totem of colour, shape, and thought.

At the top, warm hues of orange and pink glow around soft-edged rectangles and ovals, setting the tone with a sense of energy and openness. Just below, deeper shades of pink and magenta take over, forming rounded and rectangular shapes that pulse with bold rhythm.

The third panel shifts into cooler tones — teal, purple, and black — where geometry becomes moodier, more introspective. Finally, the bottom panel bursts with fresh greens and blues, balancing the entire piece with vibrancy and life.

Threaded down the full length of the work, a quote by John Muir ties the four panels into a single story: “When we try to pick out anything by itself we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.” The words echo the structure — separate yet inseparably linked — reflecting the artwork’s central theme of interconnectedness.
