Eventide

Original painting using Daniel Smith watercolours on watercolour paper, with silver, gold and black embellishments, on a white background. Contains an unattributed but thought-provoking quote "We get to have this day"

Option 1: mounted & unframed 30cm x 42cm

Option 2: framed in a white wooden frame (see photo below)

Blue and pink abstract painting in watercolour with added mixed media. Featuring circles, swirls and branches, and the quote 'We get to have this day' subtly inserted

This artwork feels like a breath held in light — an abstract arrangement of translucent circles in soft shades of blues, pinks, grey, silver and gold, gently overlapping like memories or passing clouds.

Woven through the floating forms are delicate, tree-like branches, each tipped with tiny buds — hints of growth, of something just about to begin. The natural lines drift through the geometry, softening it, grounding it.

Tucked gently within the composition are the hand-lettered words: “WE GET TO HAVE THIS DAY.” Not bold, but present — a quiet affirmation hiding in plain sight.

The overall effect is light, spacious, and serene — a poetic meeting of form and feeling, where nature and geometry hold space for reflection and grace
